Trip or Slip Puts One in Dentist Chair

By Taylor Ware
Taylor and Fam herald
TOOELE- What started as a routine monthly shopping trip turned into havoc quickly when an alleged mother of 5 gets escorted to the dentist's office.
It was a Friday morning at approximately 9:45 MDT in the shoe corridor of the Tooele Wal-Mart. The 3 shoppers had just finished deciding which shoe polish to get for their dad/husband. They were about to head to the food center when the dreaded baby section blocked their straight shot. The mother insisted on taking a look, but the youngest of her children had different thoughts. He took his girraffe like leg and suspended it up in the air making it virtually impossible for the mother to pass through. When push came to shove, trip came to slip also. The mother fell to the hardwood floor face first. What was just a joke at first turned into a urgent matter. The half birthright( due to a ten year gap in children) drove the mother to the dentist office while the youngster put all the cart items back in their correct spots. After a few stiches and a push of a tooth, the mother left the dentist's chair with a memory and a couple bruises. Her recovery was so substantial that the 3 continued their shopping trip that afternoon.

Very well written. I smell a Pulitzer!

Speaking of smell, we wouldn't mind a sniff of one of those 56 cups!

Oh my heavens! Is the woman of whom you speak doing all right? Will she press charges on the son?
Were there other witnesses to the incident?

Further studies have shown that charges will not be pressed. Any witnesses that might of been there fled immediately. She is doing fine.

I am trying so hard not to laugh but I can't help it. I'm so sorry that it happened, but I'm still laughing. Maybe the woman can laugh soon too!

Taylor-excellent writing! Reminds me of my good ol' Broadcast Journalism days. I think you have the knack for it! I am glad I finally read the story--I had heard so much about it. Wow! What a memory in the annals of the Ware History!!
