Colorado Vacation

We left bright and early on Friday morning so that we could make the most of the weekend that we had in Colorado. We got there to the happy faces of Troy, Tracie and Brooke, oh and how could I forget Squishy. Squishy either wants to play or snuggle, I love kittens! Anyway, after dinner we went and played mini-golf at the only mini-golf course that has break on the greens. Dad won by two strokes and wouldn't let us forget about it, "Can you run over those scores again, I forgot."

Saturday was meant to celebrate Brooke's birthday. In the morning we went to Toy Story 3, amazing movie so funny. The best part was the Spanish Buzz, absolutely hillarious. But the funniest part was everytime the screen went black Brooke would scream out "Uh Oh." The other families there enjoyed that. Then we headed to Sweet Tomatoes for lunch a Colorado mainstay. Many of things to eat there and then we were treated to a Dairy Queen demonstration from Troy and the ice cream station. Then we relaxed for the rest of the night.

Sunday was the bad day, Tracie had been sick the entire time we were down there but it hit her hard on Sunday morning and she spent most of the day in bed. Then at like 10 or 10:30 I got a strange pain in my trap muscle above my shoulder and I fought that for like 4 hours. Nobody had an explanation for it not even me. Then after church the cooking extravaganza started, this was our dinner, Fried Rice with pork, these salted chicken wings, a spicy chicken and broccoli dish, and some fish. Yah it was pandomonium in the kitchen for a hour or two.

Monday we awoke and spent the last little bit of time with Troy and Brooke at the park, Tracie was still sick :(. They have a new park called Bison Park, it was by far the coolest park I have ever been to we boys played more than Brooke did. Then we had the bogusly long 9 hour trip home, yah not fun.
