Yay For School....Not

First of all sorry for not having pictures a lot. We don't really take the camera everywhere, and we don't ever do anything thing that earns camera rights. So school started Thursday, and it just feels like an extension of last year, so even though we have only gone to school for 2 days, it feels like 2 months. Hopefully it will start going by fast. We had our first football game Friday. We ended up losing, but it was a really good game and we look a lot better than last year. We had the Spanish Fork clan minus Shane and Heather this weekend while Shane and Heather went to Bear Lake. It was fun to have them around again.

2-A-Days Are Over!!!

The worst part of football is now over. 2-a-days this year were pretty fun but at times it was really stupid. I think we actually have a chance this year. JV will definetly be fun. I should be starting both ways. Other than football we really haven't done anything this week. We got registered for school this week and right when I got my schedule the person said, go see the counselor. Right then we knew we were in for a treat. All in all I have a very challenging but fun schedule. And I have so many required classes that next year the only class I have to take is english. School starts this Thursday. Our first game is Friday at home. By the way Brett is number 5 in the top picture and I am number 10 (in white) in the bottom picture. The pictures are of our Red White Scrimmage.

Operation Trienta Sucess

Suprise Anniversary sucess, everything didn't go excatly as outlined but they did end up doing everything on the agenda. Instead of Brett and I hitchhiking our way down to Spanish Fork, Mom, Brett, and I just went down Friday morning to help Heather. From there Mom and I went to Grandmas and Grandpas were Mom and Dad were meeting. I drove one car home because I had a suprise birthday party ( Shane I give all permission to make fun of me right now!). Instead of Marie Calendars for dinner, M and D took G and G to the Coachmen for G and G's Christmas present or something. They did go to Marie Calendars for dessert though. Friday night they headed to Castle Creek Inn, they had the Scotland room. That night they did what married people do..... Watch the Opening Ceremonies!!!!!!!!!!. Saturday morning they got the breakfast in bed then went shopping and stuff. While they were having there fun, Shane and Heather went shopping all day, so Brett and I stayed home and babysat and watched the olympics. Badmiton is the most hilarious thing to watch. Sunday We found out why the design of the newer churches are U shaped. The Spanish Fork church is like a maze. There ward is all about getting to know the new people in the ward, so there bishopric got the privilege of meeting our whole family. Oh I almost forgot, Saturday night, the Spanish Fork clan went to the Brick Oven ( I can hear Shane and Heather laughing already) Lets just say we had the experience of our lives, it truly is one of those things that is just unexplainable. I'll give you some highlights though. 1. Depressed Waiter. 2. High chair full of dirty dishes because the table was overflowing. 3. Manager apology. If you really want to hear the story it is kindof an in person story so next time you see any of us just ask. 2- a- days have been alright. they're almost over.

Youth Confrence

This week had to be the longest but shortest week of all time. We had our last Youth Confrence meeting on Sunday and that felt like a month ago. I seriously can't remember what happened from Monday to Thursday. We got a little bit of the cealing in the guest bedroom done. The main event of the week though had to be Youth Confrence. We went up to settlement canyon and just played some games, did a service project, testimony meeting, hike, you know the normal YC stuff. I wasn't planning on staying overnight, but once we got up there we decided to stay. So me and a couple friends slept in a tent with no sleeping materials. So in the middle of the night, we all hadn't gotten a wink of sleep, we decided to go check our leaders truck for some pads. We go to our YM leaders truck, and he has a bed liner, It was a piece of conveyer belt, but it took the pointed edges of the rocks off of us, but that wasn't enough, so we went to our bishops truck and looked in back and there were sleeping bags, a pad, air mattress, all this stuff, were all excited saying jackpot when bishop pops up and says hey what are you doing, like he was going to punch us or something. By far it was the worst night of my life. Overall it was a really fun time. Also I am glad I am done planning. It is now time for 2-a-days.
