From 78 to 38

This week there wasn't as much basketball as usuall. Monday was the norm, American Gladiators. I kindof like how they are eliminating they eight know. We also watched Deal or no Deal because of the 9 chances to win a million. Tuesday for mutal we went ice skating, it was pretty fun, but it was really crowded. Wednesday Brett didn't have a game. We also had to watch Deal or no Deal to see if that girl could win a million, she didn't but it was close. Now there are 10 million dollar cases, so we'll have to watch again. Thursday I had a churchball game which we absolutly dominated. Then we hurried home to catch "Chuck", the show we have been dieing to see the end of because of the writers strike. So we watched the first episode and just couldn't wait for the next one and hour later. Friday Brett did have a game but it was in Logan. Everybody lost. We also watched 1 vs. 100 to see how the smartest man in America did he did alright. Saturday I had a Jr. Jazz game, and it was not pretty. We came out with the W of course, but what a pathetic game for me. I had zero points and zero rebounds, so when I was in it was pretty much 4 vs. 5. We definetly could of killed them just as bad as the team last week but none of us had it together. Saturday night we watched Super Bowls greatest commercials, and of course "Mean" Joe Greens Coke commercial came out on top for the 7th time in a row. Today we are going to watch the Top 100 Guiness World Records, because Amazing Race is over. 78 points in a Jr. Jazz game!?!?

This week was another basketball week and so will the next few. Monday once again we just watched American Gladiators, and it was awesome to see hellga do a belly flop into the water. Tuesday the girls played Ben Lomond and killed them by atleast 40. Wednesday the guys played Morgan, undeafeated in region play coming into this game we knew we would pretty much get killed. The Freshman did, same with Sophmores. Varsity though was a really exciting game. It was a pretty close game untill the third quarter, Morgan gained a twelve point lead, so we all thought it was over, we started coming back and there was 3 seconds left in the game and we were down by 3. Our QB threw it in to a main reciever on our football team and then pitched it to the sophmore three point wonder to shoot. The ball goes up and we all stop breathing. It goes in and we go crazy. In overtime we killed them to win 58-52. It was awsome because everybody hates Morgan. Thursday I had a churchball game, and the refs wouldn't call anything so we could only win by 5 we should of won by 20. Also on Thursday the girls played Morgan, they are the hardest team in region. We didn't come out and play as well as we usually do, and we are now 15-1. but as long as we can beat them at home we'll be good. Friday we didn't have schoool, and the guys played at Ben Lomond. We went up to the game to see The Freshman dominate the scots. the end score was like 70- 30, or something like that. Saturday I had my second Jr. Jazz game. Right when I saw the other team I knew this was going to be fun, with a 21-5 lead at the end of the first quarter I decided that we should get to 100. That didn't happen mostly because in the second half we were trying alley ooops the whole time. We still ended up winning 78-50. We have a pretty good team and we should be able to go undeafeated. We went to Grandmas and Grandpas after our game to watch the Byu vs. Utah matchup. I was scared the the Y would get killed. It was more even than I thought it would be and we luckly came out on top. They won 56-53. Today we are watching the season finale of Amazing race, and The playoffs. Go Packers, Chargers ha, and Nick and Don. Here are some videos of my Jr. Jazz game. Nothing but Basketball

We forgot to take the camera to any of the games this week so sorry about that. But every day this week but Monday had basketball in it. Monday the only highlight was watching american gladiators. Tuesday the girls played and of course won to make them 14-0 all together. Wednesday Guys played Ogden, it should be an easy game, but you never know with varsity. Varsity had just come off a OT win against Logan, so they must of been over confident, they lost by ten. Freshman didn't win either though, so maybe everyone underestimated them. Thursday I had my first Jr. Jazz practice, it was the most worthless hour of my life. So luckly I get to miss the next four of them because of churchball. Friday Guys went up to Bear river to play, and Brett lost pretty bad along with everyone else. Saturday I had my first Jr. Jazz game, and it was funner than I expected. I thought we were going to get dominated, but I stood corrected. We played pretty well knowing that there was a 6'7" kid on there team. There next tallest though was 5'5". We ended up winning like 41-33. I think we will be able to do well this season. Today we are having a Turkey dinner with Shane and the Crew.

Newspapers

This week all started Monday when we watched the most bodacious movie of the 80's. No way you say, Yes way Ted. Oh what a movie, we of course watched it with shane so he could explain the 80's jokes, but over all it was the most triumphant movie I have seen in a while. I stayed up untill midnight on Monday for the first time in 7 years that was fun. Wednesday we started school again, blah. I wish second term ended before christmas break so we didn't have to go back to those same classes. The guys played Tooele on Wednesday, Brett lost but it really was the refs fault. I didn't even stay for the varsity game because I knew we would get dominated. But of course the game I don't go to we win. Thursday the girls team killed logan there still undeafeated. Also on Thursday was my first churchball game, it was way fun and of course we won. Friday the guys played Logan. The freshman won pretty good. And the varstiy game was really fun to watch, we took it into overtime and ended up wining, that now puts our streak to 2 games. Here is what the newspapers look like from that night. They don't look as cool as I thought they would but they still look cool. Saturday Shane and the kids came over for a while. I tried to put kate to sleep but it wasn't the easiest job I've ever done. Sunday I had to wake up at 6:45 for a meeting that I din't even have to go to. The person that called me about it was mistaken about who was supposed to come, so I ended up waking up early for nothing. To end I would like to give you some advice I learned from a wise president.
