To Much Pressure to Handle

I was glad that we had 2 days off school this week because I was way excited for the girls playoffs. After being on the news last week ( which i got on tape of course) I thought that I would be on the news everygame. Thursday they played Hurricane at the E center for the quarterfinals, sad enough they lost by like 10, they just weren't playing well, so that sucked way bad. Friday they played in the consolation bracket where the highest place they could take was fifth. Once again we lost but only by 6 this time, but we were down the whole game. When you think about it starting 2 Sophmores 2 Juniors and 1 senior, and never making it past the first round of playoffs the past 4 years, we weren't ready for the pressure that quarterfinals brought. Next year we are taking state.
Track starts on Wednesday so I will finally have something to do after school everyday. My Jr. Jazz team is still undefeated with one game to go.

Snow Day !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Monday it was about 45 degrees and sunny and no snow on the ground. We all thought it would stay that way, and it did until Wednesday. We got out of school and it was snowing just a little bit, it started getting heavier and it didn't stop. I woke up on Thursday just like any other Thursday, get in the shower and listen to the news, right when i got out it said that Tooele School District was closed for the day, I got excited but mad that I was awake on a Snow Day. I was thinking of pulling a prank on Brett and make him think we had school, but I decided not to. So during our snow day we Me and Brett went to walmart with Shane, Heather, Jackson, and the Twins. Overall it was a not to fun snow day, at some parts of the day it felt like school would be going faster than this. So when we went back to school on Friday it felt like a Monday, it was really weird.

Brett had his Freshman Tournament, they took 7th out of 64 teams, psyche, out of 8 teams, do you really think they would do that good in a tourney? Friday the Girls played Union in the first round of playoffs. I should be on the 10 o' clock news on channel 5 on Monday, and if I am not then good ol' Jeremiah( the bullfrog) Jensen lied to me. It was really fun to have cameras there and to just turn to them and say stuff. I made the camera man laugh at my comment once, so I fell pretty cool about that. Guys lost to delta on Saturday, it was a closer loss than I thought it would be. In my Jr. Jazz game we won, but it was really close and we were losing the entire game, we were playing really bad and luckily came out with a win. We don't have school on Monday or Tuesday next week because of Presidents day and midterms. Tonight we are watching American Gladiators Finale.

Basketballs almost over

Monday was the norm, on Deal or no Deal the person still couldn't get a million so know there are 11 million cases. Tuesday we didn't want to go to mutual once again so we watched Biggest Loser and played a lot of ping pong ( We played ping pong everyday this week for atleast and hour or two so I just wont mention that). Wednesday Brett played in Morgan, and They got dominated, just like when we played them at home. Thursday was the major highlight of the week. The girls played morgan, alot was on the line, so we had to win. There were honestly like 10 times more people there that usuall. There wasn't an empty seat in the house. We stood and cheered the entire game, even when it wasn't close. Morgan started coming back a little bit in the fourth, but we held on to win. We got a share of region, and won the coin toss so we got first seed, we didn't want to win the toss though. Friday guys played Ben Lomond, they are 0-9 in region, it should be an easy win, we didn't cheer as loud, mainly because our voices were gone from the night before. Amazingly enough Varsity lost. Everyone else won. Saturday I had a Jr. Jazz game, It was pretty easy, I had a few points. Today I have a Youth Confrence meeting, I pretty much get to plan stuff that I don't get to go to, because of Football 2-a-days. This video is of Brett making a good pass, he is the toothpick number 33 blonde, can I narrow it down anymore.

Battle of the Undefeated

This week started with the suprise of all suprises. The only Prophet I ever knew passed away. We were just watching guiness world records when there was a breaking news segment, when I saw what it was about I was blown away, what a way to start the week. So on Monday everyone dressed up in church clothes, I didn't though because I didn't get the memo aka text, so I brought that complaint up with mom and I still don't have a cell phone. American Gladiators was just the norm on Monday. Tuesday we didn't feel like going to mutual so we didn't, instead we watched Biggest Loser. Wednesday Brett had a game in Ogden and they lost. Brett came home and watched ratatouille, he liked it, I didn't watch it. Thursday was girls games, they won of course. Friday guys played bear river Brett lost. Saturday was my Jr. Jazz game and it was the battle of the undefeateds. we were the only two undefeated teams, and someone wasn't going to be undefeated after this game. We got down early and were down by as much as 13. I didn't have any points and I thought it would be a repeat of last game, but I started scoring when we needed it. There was about 2 and a half minutes left and we were down by quite a bit and I scored back to back layups and three pointers to tie it up and send it into OT. In OT my coach sat me the entire time and I was like, are you kidding me, do you know that if it wasn't for me we wouldn't even be in OT. Oh well they did alright without me and we pulled off a scary, really close, Win. Here is a little video, about 15 seconds long of one of my three pointers. We are the blue team and I am the one that shoots the ball.
