The Verdict is in...

Sorry to steal the title Troy and Tracie but the grand jury of Taylor has decided that I, Brett Ware take over the duties of blogging.

Last Thursday was our BCS Championship Game, the stake young men's leader didn't want to set up an entire tournament so on Thursday the 1 seed played the 2 seed and so on. We all know this was just an excuse for us to play his ward, Gordon Lane, again so that they might actually beat us for once. Well we shot down that idea. The score may not indicate that this was a game of the two best teams but we won 29-25.

Then the madness has begun; on Wednesday I went and bought my season pass to Stansbury GC and played the inaugural round of the season on Friday. Plus our girls team beat rival Tooele on Friday so now we have some bragging rights (for once).

Do You Remember Me? Cause I Sure as Heck Fire Remember You

Hey, it was January, everything was dormant, and so were our lives out here in Stansbury. No promises for February either, luckily is is a very short month. One good note, the waiting game for college is starting to slowly wind down and turn over to the decision phase. I reveived a full tuition scholarship award in the mail from UVU yesterday. So that adds a great deal of relief about BYU and whatever happens there. It also adds a great deal of stress for BYU and whatever happens there. I'm contemplating getting my associates degree at UVU and then transferring to BYU. We will see where life takes me and where I take myself.

Out With the Aughts and in With the 10's

What a decade it has been. The family has more than doubled in size, three missions were served, the olympics were experienced close to home, all of us are 10 years older ( go figure), and life seems to get better each and every day.

Great thanks to Shane and Heather for their wonderful hospitality as I stayed at their house for a few days this past week. They acted just as mom would by getting me home early each... morning, and also were generous enough to let me be the first guest to enjoy the new bathroom downstairs. It was fantastic. As next to everyone knows, cause I did do a little talking about it, I spent this past week with Riley who I met when I was down in California over the summer. We had a blast and the four days flew. We did activities such as sledding, ice skating, and game playing. I was a gentleman by very purposely taking last place in all the games we played, it had nothing to do with her amazing skills in every game we seemed to play. Nope. Only 73 days until this extreme fun happens again, but who's counting. Sorry to Troy and Tracie, you are the only ones to not have met Riley yet, maybe there will come a time when we take a road trip out there for something. In the mean time, take either Mom's, Dad's, Shane's, Heather's, Jeremy's, Kenz's, or Brett's word for it.
