It's Done

Tracie, no need to be afraid of spiders, bugs, etc. falling onto you while you are in your REM at night. The ceiling is done! Dad worked on it most of Saturday, Brett helped cut a little bit. We are putting up towel racks, toilet paper things, and shower curtain Monday. Also on Saturday, Me, Mom, and Dad, went to go see "Forever Strong". I give it 4 stars, two enthusiastic thumbs up. Seriously though, it was really good. It was cool to see how they changed Granstvilles field and scoreboard. I think it was my first time in a movie theater since redbox came out, but I just couldn't pass it up.
I don't know if you remember a couple posts back, when Brett scored and I didn't. I said that I would get my glory at home with more people watching. Well it finally happened. It was on the same play that Brett scored on. It was a perfect pass, right in stride, I was wide open( which made the catch 10 times harder), and we were playing Logan, who I hate. This is why, they show up about 15 minutes before the "normal" start time, but no it is Logan let's let them do all the warmups they want. So that made me really furious. We ended up winning 42-7, and if we didn't let them score( which they didn't really, he was out of bounds when he caught it, but it's Logan remember) it would've been 95 unanswered points at home for us. I am getting sick of going on long bus rides with varsity to get killed and not play, they lost 59-0, and I didn't even get one play. Next week JV heads up to Bear River, and it is homecoming.

Just a Few More Ceiling Tiles

This week has been a successful week down in the basement. The bathroom is finished. The ceiling has about 24 tiles left then it is done. By the time Tracie comes it should be finished.
We got a letter in the mail this week telling us to decide which high school we are going to go to. We have to make the decision before Oct. 3. I am not ready to decide yet. I am going to put down Grantsville and then if i decide to go to Stansbury they can't make me not go. Brett has to fill out an open enrollment paper, because he supposedly doesn't have a choice of which high school to go to.
The football situation this week definetly can go in the books as one of the worst ever. Besides the fact that we lost 37-21, It was there homecoming, they beat us last year when it was our homecoming, it was in roosevelt 3 and a half hours away, besides all that, on the way home the bus broke down. We didn't get home until three thirty in the morning. All in All in was an awful night. Saturday, Dad worked downstairs all day, we made salsa, and that was about it.
I almost forgot. I always write about the Varsity game, but I never talk about the one you care about. JV we absolutly crushed them 53-0. It was 41-0 at halftime so our coach comes up to us and says, all Juniors are done. The first half was really fun. There were only 4 passes thrown and 2 of them were to me, one of the ones to me got intercepted, the other one went right through my hands and hit me in the face mask. I was really wide open too. This is what happened. They call the play I get excited because they usually throw to me, I line up and there is nobody over me, I get even more excited, my hands start sweating. I run my route, cut, run, and there is the ball, in the air coming to me, I think to myself, yeah baby this is mine, I don't catch it, I turn stop running and Bam, I get drilled. I was unbelievably mad. Brett hurt his hip on the second play or something, so he didn't really go in the first half, and they didn't pass the second half, but he did a good job blocking.

Chilly Mornings

It has finally been cooling down around here. Temps are in the mid 70's. Ok enough about temps. Guess who beat the worst football team ( Carbon) in all of high school. Yep we did. Guess who acted like we won a state championship after our win. Yep we did. I am excited that we won and all, but at some time you have got to come down from cloud 9, and get back to reality. The score ended up being 61-20. I got to go in with about 7 minutes left in the game. It was fun to play under the lights and all. Ok enough about varstiy. JV was a very fun game. The end score was 42-12. I had 3 catches, 2 runs, 2 first downs, and 1 fumble. Brett on the other hand had 1 catch, 1 touchdown. The play that he scored on was the play that I ran earlier and it didn't work for me. At first I was mad and all, but I will hopefully get my share of glory at a home with a lot more people watching.
Saturday we went up to Grandma and Grandpas house to watch the BYU game. That was a fun game to watch for the first half. I got a little boring in the second half, but it was still fun to watch. After the game we went to the Italian Village for dinner. Today we had Regional Stake Conference, President Monson spoke, along with M. Russell Ballard and Elder Hinkley, who sounds just like his dad. It was a good conference and it only lasted an hour and a half instead of the planned 2 hours.

At Least BYU Can Win

Yeah so this football season for Grantsville is starting out just as bad as last year. We just lost our third consecutive game, we had negative total yards, and got shut out. I pretty much just play for JV, even though we lost, we at least scored three times. We have a ton of pictures from Colorado, but they are all the same ones that you guys have already posted.
