Victory

Byu Vs. Utah, a game where the Utah fans do the talking before the game so that Byu fans can do it after. Utah fans are just so polite huh. ha ha. Since all of you either went to the game or was on the phone while the last two minutes were in progress I won't talk about the game. Although the game was the highlight of the week a lot went on before the game also. Troy and Tracie arrived at our house about 3:00 p.m. Wednesday. Instead of staying at home with them I decided to go to the girls basketball game( for a very important reason which you will read about later). So the reason I went to the game is because during the visiting teams introduction we held up newspapers. ( just like Byu). When I get a picture of it i will definetly put it on the blog. It worked awsome too. Now it is just a tradition. I of course had the idea and provided the papers. So that was wednesday night. Thursday was thanksgiving right? Wrong! ok well not all the way wrong. On thanksgiving morning we opened christmas presents. It went really fast. Then we went to Tom and Patties for Thanksgiving. Before we ate we had a good but cold football game. So we just ate and watched football. Friday Me brett Troy and Tracie went to RC willey( at 11 o clock) to look for sectionals, then we went to grandmas and grandpas to get some books and go to lunch. We went to lunch at Karroos, a sandwich place. And the most awesome thing was the grandma and grandpa, when it came time to order said, just the regular, it was awesome. Saturday was the game. Brett got really sick right at the end of the game but he is feeling better now. That was our week. Now we have to go back to school, which is alright because Byu won. I almost forgot, the thing that brett remembers most about the weekend is that he got to play nintendo whenever he wanted. Troy and Tracie brought this nintendo thing with techmo bowl and contra. it was fun to watch i didn't ever play it looked to hard to me. And good job to byu basketball for beating louisville. Unfortionetly they lost to number one UNC.

Week full of norms

This week was just a normal week, nothing spectacular happened.So I will just skip to saturday. We decided to watch the Byu game at Grandmas house. It wasn't that great of a game, and it wasn't that interesting to watch. But it was better than listening to it on the radio. Before we went to grandmas we stoped to get some Starbury shoes for 14.98. They didn't have very many shoes my size so were going back next week when they get there shipment to get some more. This next week is going to be awesome though because i only have 2 1/2 days of school than the rivalry game.

Rivalry Week

This is why I had you scroll down. To get this video on the blog I had to write a diferent post without pictures. All for Nothing

This Mon-Wed was Basketball tryouts. I didn't know if I wanted to tryout, so I just went to the first day to see what it was like. It was alright, I was pretty mad but not as mad as I excpected. So I went on Tuesday. I didn't go in with the same attitude as I did on Monday. You know that attitude were you don't care but you still try to do good. On Tuesday we did "break the press" and I was on the bad team so it made me look good, but it really made me mad because we never beat the press. They made first cuts after Tuesdays practice, so I decided i would look at the list and then decide wether i would go back on Wednesday. I see the list and decide to go back. So on Wednesday I really did want to be there, and I think that was the problem. I couldn't seem to make anything. We did the break the press drill again, but this time I was on the good team and we scored every time. Then we did five on five and I was on the good team again. So I go to look at the list Thursday morning to see who they cut. I was a little nervous, but not really because i knew if i didn't make it I could just lift all winter. So I look at the list and my name wasn't there. they only kept 6 sophmores, that isn't even enough for a team, so I don't even know what they will do. But it was a weird year because some of the juniors that have played since they were Freshman got cut too. They ended up keeping 20 people not including freshman. So I am not mad, I am going to play Jr. Jazz and then get ready for next football season. If I get taller i want to be 6'1" 175 lbs. If I dont grow I want to weigh 155-160. But more than getting bigger I want to get faster and all that. Brett made the team just fine. The freshman team pretty much has there whole 8th grade team plus a couple more.

Bring on the Sun

We had the oppurtunity to go to yet another Byu game this season. Dad called us up on Friday and said that nobody is using the tickets, so we decided to go. Dad got off his plane from Georgia at 10:30 and went into work, got the tickets and headed to Provo. While he was doing that we were having lunch at the creamery, redeming ourselves of Wednesday night. We only ended up missing about half of the first quarter. The weather was a lot different this time, actually it was completly opposite. It was sunny and about 55 degrees. Wednesday we were just in Provo trick-or-treating with channing and jackson, it was fun because we got to take home most of the candy(which is now gone). We went to the creamery and had dinner and the order took 30 minutes to come because the paper was messed up or something. And instead of giving us some sort of discount or something for the wait, they actually gave us less fries and I only had half of my second hamburger patty. Ice cream comes with the kids meals, and this guy was giving us bigger scoops because of the wait but than this lady came over and said that those were supposed to be kids scoops and started to get mad at him. So we had to give them another chance on saturday and they redemed themselves. Basketball tryouts are Monday, Brett is Most likely going to make it, and I hope that something happens that will make me want to actually play. What I mean by that is that all the kids that tryed out last year hated the coach and so they aren't playing this year, all those people were my friends, so this year all the sophmores trying out are the kids that didn't make it last year. None of them are my friends and they aren't very good at basketball. So what could be worse that losing all your games and having no friends on the team while you lose. I want to play I just don't know if I could stand that for a season, that is why I am hoping somebody or something will happen that will make want to play.
