Stansbury High Pandemic: Senioritis

Well the first week of school at Stansbury has come to an end, now there are only 36 more. New school talk outweighed new school activity and happenings by 5 tons. The place is already full. First pep assembly... hopefully our last. Out of 1300 kids atleast some should have school spirit?
As for golf, Brett is consistently in the top four and is going to his third tourney Wednesday. It's pretty easy to see the reapetative nature of our lives even after the first week of school. Have a wonderful September.

Summer Has Taken Its Turn

It has been a summer full of highlights, memories and laughs. It all started back at the end of May with a trip down to Clovis, California. Where activities varied from farmers market to dune buggy time trials. From there we headed due east and visited Castle Rock, Colorado. Activities such as touring the mint and playing rugby in the backyard filled that vacation. We also ventured down to Spanish fork on occasion this summer. Such activities there were babysitting and taking care of the kids while Shane and Heather went out.
This summer was a lot different then all the rest. Most likely becuase both Brett and I weren't waking up and driving out to grantsville every morning for football. There have been no regrets of not playing, even after watching Stansbury win their first game friday.
The reunion was the cap to all the activities this summer. Now it is time to enjoy sleeping in a little longer and driving 15 times less far to school everyday.

Pepper Needs New Shorts

Just to make sure that golf didn't engulf all of our time this week, Shane decided to break a sprinkler so that we could go down to Spanish Fork. As all of you know, that was a complete lie. Shane did, however, need help with sprinklers. And we did go down there. Jackson has already adopted the teenager attitude and decided that chilling with family is far more boring than going and playing with two girls. Can we blame him? Absolutely not.

To say hello and goodbye for the 3rd time in 2 weeks, Brett and I went to the creamery on 9th with Jer, Kenz, and family Thursday night. Many memories were sparked during the event. It was very nice to see them once again. Will pictures of the reunion be on every post for the next while? Yes. Will they have anything to do with the post? Most likely not. Why then post pictures? Nobody knows.
So I've posted a few thousand pictures that don't make sense, who hasn't, who hasn't?

Ware Family 2009

For those select few that read our blog and not any of the other Ware family blogs, I would first recommend reading theirs. On the other hand, thanks for spending a few minutes with us.

This weekend was our family reunion. We went up to a cabin in Heber City where we watched kids run wild for hours. One afternoon Mom, Dad, Bobbi and Scott babysat while the rest of us went into Park City. Our first destination was the alpine slide and coaster. It wouldn't have been a successfull alpine slide run if someone didn't fall off. This time it was Shane. Only a couple burns, a shirt with a slide skid mark, and a commendment to the creators of the alpine coaster was all he got. Then we went shopping at the outlets. All in all, it was a successfull reunion.

The Power of a 10 Year Gap

When most people find out that there is a ten year gap from the youngest of the three oldest to the oldest of the youngest, they are astonished. They seem to wonder what mom and dad were thinking. And in all due respect even some of us haven't truly understood why. However, the past three weeks have made it quite obvious why there is a ten year gap and the impact that it has on a family. You three and your families have been my leading example since who knows when. Maybe it was visting Shane at BYU and having to wash your feet every ten minutes because of the carpet, or it was the days at the elms with Troy and Jeremy both there. The time period that I have learned the most is from when all three got married. It is such an inspiration to see how you all react in your families. The feelings I have had the past three weeks are undescribable. These experiences make me excited to be where they are in their lives. Brett and I get to see the joy and happiness of a family of your own. The three of you keep me away from folowing the world and believing the lie that getting married is overrated. Thank you three and your families for the knowledge, the inspiration, and guidance that you have given me through the years. Thank you Jer and Kenz for changing my life for the better yet again. It's inevitable, you will leave that place a better person. Whether it's three weeks or three days. That home is full of love, humor, and happiness. Clovis California has the quintessential family, and the Dry Creek ward that spans probably 30 square miles, is blessed to have the presence of that family. Thank you all so much, Jeremy, Kenz, Channing, Samara (lulu), scarlett, and maggie :/
