Today is the Day

Yes the time has come that Taylor is officially moving out of the house and starting his college adventures. He packed up the car last night and he and mom depart for UVU this afternoon. I think that everybody is both sad and excited.

As Taylor starts school I do as well, I start tomorrow morning for another glorious year at Stansbury High. Luckily I get to miss part of the second day for a golf tournament. Our first tourney was last tuesday at bountiful ridge, if anybody knows that course you have to hit fairways to score good, well I hit 4 out of 14 so you can guess that I had a crappy score which I did, but I still tied for 18th in region and need to be in the top 10 to make it to state so the hopes are high.

This past week we Jackson since monday and brooke, kate and ellie joined him at our house on wednesday. It was fun but stressful at the same time.

The last week before school

This the the final week of summer for both me and taylor as I start school on the 24th and Taylor moves out on the 23rd. It is both saddening and exciting at the same time. I have to go back to school but at least I will have something to do and Taylor will be an hour away at all times. :)

This past week I proceeded to finish out the Oquirrh Hills Jr. Golf League in terrible fashion. I waltzed through the league even with many bad rounds including a horrific 43 in the championship, still good enough for a 4 stroke win. The trophy was for the Club Championship (I think a little over the top) and the plaque is for Player of the Year.

Last Boring Week

After coming home from Colorado on Monday this week was just a normal summer week. Taylor worked everyday but like one and I did just about nothing. Good thing is that the golf season starts tomorrow so I will now have something to do everyday. Hopefully by playing golf everyday I will be able to drop the last stubborn strokes that are keeping me from going under par.

Thursday marked a historic day, I went on my first date. This date has been in the works for about 3 months, I couldn't find someone to double with and then the people I could find bailed, yada yada yada. So me and Taylor doubled and it was really fun. We went to Trafalga in orem and then got some in-n-out and iceberg in draper. I am not proud to say that the girls got shakes at Iceberg because they beat both of us at the free throw basketball games.
